Sasha’s family emigrated to Boulder, Colorado when he was 4 years old from Tashkent, Uzbekistan as a Soviet refugee. He’s a native Russian speaker who grew up in the Denver suburbs and earned a B.S. in Finance from the University of Colorado. Sasha’s been a lifelong entrepreneur, starting his first business creating websites when he was in high school. Today he runs a countertop manufacturing facility in north Denver. He is president of Entrepreneurs Organization of Colorado.
His hobbies include music, hosting presidential debate parties, secondary education policy, and helping entrepreneurs build businesses out of their ideas. Sasha bought a unicycle in 2011 that he is still learning how to ride. Sasha is personally responsible for extending Veggie beats video recordings by hours with his uncontrollable laughter.
Russell Hedman is a Denver native. He attended Denver East High School, earned a B.A. in Political Science from the University of Colorado, and J.D. from the Harvard Law School. Russell is an attorney specializing in mergers and acquisitions. When he isn’t writing bulletproof contracts, he’s writing rhymes so sweet and tasty they might give your kids cavities.
Russell speaks Japanese and was featured on a Japanese TV show. With crisp vocals and high level music production skills, Russell produces jams enjoyed by all. He enjoys spending time with his nieces and nephews and eagerly awaits for them to be of age to challenge him in Dungeons and Dragons.
Joe Barnholt is a 3rd generation Denverite, and a fifth generation Coloradan. While attending Denver East High School, his passions included baseball, tennis, and mathematics. His college years were spent at Colorado School of Mines where he earned his degree in Mechanical Engineering. Today, he’s a consultant in oil and gas by day, rockstar by night, and a wedding planner on the weekends as he prepares for his upcoming wedding.
Joe found a need for music in college to escape the ‘always a correct answer’ world of engineering. Songwriting took over the free moments between life and work. Outside of music, he enjoys sports and relaxing with his fiancé Shaina and their corgi, Pepper.
Joe Shull is Denver transplant from the Twin Cities, Minnesota. After moving at the age of 14, Joe’s parents bought him his first guitar and he’s been playing it ever since. A graduate from CU Denver, Joe gigged in bars most nights while earning his accounting degree and eventual CPA certification. Now an entrepreneur in the steel fabrication sector, he applies every free moment and musical prowess to music production while sipping tea.
His other interests include cider making and spending time with family and his girlfriend.
